RetrievalP Get it for Windows

Terms and licence

Effective 27 October 2026. These terms are also the licence agreement shown when you install RetrievalP.

Who this agreement is with

This agreement is between you and al-Itawa Jusef, [Street address and postcode], Lappeenranta, Finland, Business ID 3578144-1 (“we”). By installing or using RetrievalP you accept it. If you don't accept it, don't install or use it.

What you may do

You may install RetrievalP and use its free scan without paying. Saving recovered files requires a pass, and removing leftovers from an iPhone requires the clean-up add-on. A pass or add-on is valid for the period and on the number of computers shown when you buy it.

Use it only on devices you are allowed to use

Use RetrievalP only on an iPhone that you own, or that its owner has clearly allowed you to scan. Using it to get into someone else's photos without permission may be a crime and is not allowed under this licence. We may cancel a licence key that is used this way, without a refund.

What you may not do

You may not share or resell licence keys, or reverse engineer, modify or bypass the licence check, except where the law allows this regardless of this agreement.

Buying, payment and receipts

Passes and add-ons are sold through our reseller Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record: it takes payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt and processes refunds. Lemon Squeezy's own terms apply to the purchase itself. The price shown at checkout includes the taxes that apply to you. Passes are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.

Refunds and your right of withdrawal

If RetrievalP doesn't work for you, email support@retrievalp.com within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. You don't have to give a reason.

If you live in the EU or the UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once the content is supplied, if you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right. Our 14-day refund promise above applies either way.

What RetrievalP can and can't recover

RetrievalP can only recover what is still stored on the iPhone. Photos deleted more than 30 days ago usually come back only as small previews, and some items can't be recovered at all. The free scan shows what can be saved before you buy, so please check it first.

Removing leftovers (the clean-up add-on)

The clean-up add-on permanently deletes the leftover files it lists from the iPhone. It only runs after you confirm, and it doesn't delete photos in your library. Deleted leftovers can't be brought back, so save anything you want to keep first. Some leftovers can't be removed this way; the app tells you how many. To clear everything from an iPhone, use Erase All Content and Settings on the phone.

Your data

RetrievalP works entirely on your computer and never uploads your photos or phone data. The privacy policy explains the little data we do handle.

Our responsibility

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights when digital content is faulty, and nothing in these terms limits them. If RetrievalP doesn't work as described, we will fix it or, if we can't, refund you.

Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows: RetrievalP is provided as it is, we don't promise that it will recover any particular file, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us. This limit doesn't apply to harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Changes and ending the licence

Updates may change how RetrievalP works. We will not take away features of a pass you have already paid for during its validity. Your licence ends if you break these terms; you can end it at any time by uninstalling RetrievalP.

Third-party software and trademarks

RetrievalP includes open-source components listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, each under its own licence. RetrievalP is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorised, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc. iPhone, iOS, Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Windows is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Please contact us first; we would rather fix a problem than argue about it. Consumers in Finland can also take a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) after first contacting the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority's consumer advice service.
